Born in England, Luka Booth studied fine art painting and art history with a focus on figurative oil painting. He began his career in 2019, fusing his training in figurative oil painting with a painterly approach to fashion photography. Drawing inspiration from his family’s artistic background—his mother a couturier, his father a choreographer—Luka’s work reflects a deep immersion in the worlds of performance, fashion, and visual storytelling.

Luka’s images often take on surreal, dreamlike qualities, capturing fleeting moments and narratives that invite multiple interpretations. With a focus on theatricality and fantasy, his photography seeks to blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. Working with long exposures and hand-coloured techniques, he recreates the spontaneous, atmospheric qualities of painting, bringing a sense of depth and emotion to his fashion imagery.

His work has been featured in top publications including Vogue Portugal, GQ Magazine, Vogue Arabia, Dapper Dan, Vogue CZ, Behind The Blinds, and ODE (by Spring Studios).
