Within a few years, Michel Comte quickly evolved to become one of the most sought-after fashion and magazine photographers in the world. For Vogue and Vanity Fair Comte has portrayed numerous celebrities from the world of art, movies and entertainment ranging from Julian Schnabel, Jeremy Irons and Demi Moore to Pharrell Williams, Jake Gylenhall, Mike Tyson and Michael Schumacher. In addition to portrait photography and fashion Comte has increasingly moved towards to photo-reportage and documentary. On photo assignments for the international Red Cross as well as his own Michel Comte Water Foundation as he travelled war zones and unstable areas in Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Sudan and Cambodia.
In 2016, Comte has continued to work with the best in fashion editorial including shoots for Vogue Italia and Vogue Uomo, and in brand advertising Comte shot the latest campaign for blu electronic cigarettes.
