DANIELE DUELLA

Born in Milan, Daniele Duella abandoned conventional studies at the early age of 13 to start his photographic career. After a decade working with Iango Henzi as the duo Daniele + Iango, Daniele has now launched his solo career, living between Paris and Los Angeles.

His approach to photography acts under one single principle: That each picture must feel like a mountain. Opposed to focusing on movement, Daniele looks at his images as static pieces, with a special attention to clean lines and a well-thought graphic precision. Under this premises he created a visual signature and marked a moment in fashion with his Iconic series of Supermodel Covers for i-D.

Daniele's has been published in Vogue, Vanity Fair, W Magazine, Interview, V Magazine, Visionaire, i-D, Dazed, Another and The Economist. He has shot advertising campaigns for Cartier, Givenchy, Tom Ford, Versace Jeans and Versus. Among his several exhibitions in Paris, most of them at Arums Gallery, his last personal presentation was “The Modern Muses” at Colette.
